Young Chemical NewsSeptember 22, 2006Young Chemical Company is pleased to announce a promotion and restructuring in our organization. John Bennett has been promoted to VP of Supply Chain Management. In his expanded role John’s duties will now include overseeing Purchasing, Forecasting and Inventory Management and Control, Operations and Logistics. John brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the to the position with over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry. In the last 10 years with Young Chemical, John has successfully implemented many of the major process improvements at our company including ISO registration, NACD Responsible Distribution Process and the rollout of our key safety programs. We have made this organizational change in order to integrate all of our supply chain processes and continue to drive efficiencies in our business. John’s immediate focus will be on developing streamlined processes in our purchasing and inventory control better aligned with our manufacturing, logistics and customer needs. Both Brian McCue our Vice President of Sales and Bob Lisey will be working closely with John and his organization on Vendor Relations and Business Development information. Due to this restructuring effective Friday September 22, 2006 Lisa Walker is no longer with Young Chemical Company.
